Who We Are
Owner-Operated Since 1990
Established in 1990, Rushacre Quarry is owned and operated by Gwyn James, who continues to run the quarry himself. Using a 360° excavator, Gwyn produces high-quality shale and stone products, supplying customers throughout Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and the surrounding areas.
Tested & Certified
Our stone has undergone extensive testing and meets recognised industry standards, including Type 2 Stone classification, excellent drainage performance, and high CBR (California Bearing Ratio) values for strength and durability.
These qualities make our products ideal for agricultural, commercial, industrial and civil engineering applications, providing a reliable alternative to more expensive aggregate products.
Licensed Quarry
Rushacre Quarry is a fully licensed operation. Following a recent site extension in 2024, we are now able to offer an even wider range of aggregate products while continuing to meet all relevant environmental and aggregate levy regulations.
Delivery & Collection
We can arrange delivery using trusted local haulage contractors, or customers are welcome to collect directly from the quarry if preferred. We supply both small quantities and large bulk orders across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and the surrounding areas.

Our prices vary depending on the stone grade, quantity required and delivery distance. We work hard to offer competitive prices for both private and commercial customers without compromising on quality.
